October Update
The first assignments of the academic year have been entered in to SKYWARD. Be sure to utilize your on-line passwords to keep close tabs on quarterly grades. October 7th is already the midterm of first quarter.
In Language Arts, we've studied the Writing Process as well as the Six Traits of Writing and are currently for an entry for the Patriot's Pen Writing Contest: The America I Believe In.
In Literature, we're almost done reading the Newbery Medal-Winning novel The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare.
In Math, we are currently beginning chapter 2--variable expressions.

Many Hands Make Light Work!
Our 8th graders loading boxes of school supplies in to a ELG district van, so that flooded schools in Louisiana can receive a delivery leaving Plymouth on Friday, September 30th.
Much thanks to Sargento & Johnsonville for transporting the supplies from Plymouth High School!
